Ziegel = (brick in German)

Previous to the Grenadier I had an old burgundy/red 1994 G350DT which we took on family off off-road trips (Trans-American trail etc.). This truck affectionately known as "Lady Bug" was lost being T-boned in a parking lot. I spent the next 1.5 years looking for a replacement G-wagen and gave up finding one the was looked after and relatively rust free.

I took a chance on a used 2024 Grenadier this fall and my kids associate this one to a Lego brick. So sticking with some of the German influence of the Grenadier we are sticking with "Ziegel" for its nick name.

Picture to be attached soon

Our house is a big music house and when we were naming the QM, the name evolved from driving it and the feeling I got when discussing it.

Zulu Tango Bebop
Zulu: named after the African fierce warriors, also Africa is where Sir Jim designed the Grenadier to conquer

Tango: like the dance where it is a connection with your partner. In this case, you and Grenadier become one. Blend of Africa, Europe and Argentina cultures

Bebop: style of jazz that moves away from mainstream. Improvisation based upon the surroundings.

Moreli. Italianized mushroom (Morel) name in honor of the paint color and axles. Despite lacking psilocybin, you can take a serious trip with this one. People like the zebrawood inlays.
