TYRE PRESSURE ALERT BUGS See this post. Please fix those bugs. ALLOW ALERTS OVERRIDE All Alerts should give the user an option to dismiss them. If you are remote it can be hours or days before you get help, being reminded every 60 seconds is mind numbing. Dismissing the alert may mean an hourly reminder rather than every minute or so. CLEAR ALERT In addition to dismissing an Alert, you should have the option to Clear an Alert if it is no longer valid. For example, when you have a High...
We need some control or say over DFP burn offs, instead of “helicopter mode” coming on at anytime it decides. I have lost count the number of times burns off decide to start 2 minutes before I get home. If this occurs in remote Australia in spinifex, the car could be lost by setting fire to the spinifex. My suggestions: When off-road mode is on, no DPF burn offs; When the car reaches 85% before a burn off is to start, the driver is notified; Any time the car is at 85% or more, the driver...
Why does the "Consumers" lug on the Smartpass 120 come with a warning label not to use it. The consumers lug on the CTEK Smartpass dual battery system is there to be used for accessories, such as refrigerators, camp lighting, radios or other electrical equipment you do not want to connect to the starting battery. Why did Ineos engineers chose to delete this function? The reason I opted for a dual battery system is because of this feature. Can we use it anyway without issues?
Overall, I am very happy with my Grenadier Trialmaster, love this truck and enjoy it every time I'm out and about. There are known minor issues, and I do think that most of these issues can be addressed before we (the customer) take delivery of our truck. Here is a list of things I had issues with after I took delivery. 1. Cowl Plugs: I had to go back twice for cowl plugs as they randomly fell out. Dealership replaced the cowl plugs and added sealant to fix the issue. 2. Wiper blades...
Being in Canada with only two dealerships located in Ontario and British Columbia. When can we expect either a tool or the ability to have the dealer reset the indicator on line? The dealer should be able to log in to vehicle via an online portal and obd cable at minimum.
Mid of May 25 a new SW was released to change the way axles lockers can be re-engaged but as of today this update has to my knowledge not been made available for MY23. Is this going to be made available for MY23 as well and if so can you estimate by when? Thank you! Here is a link to a youtube video that explains the details View: https://youtu.be/PHGf6xld9Vc?si=IgUuTyIo7Zgh4bLN
When will an oil change reset be rolled out for everyone? Driving 5.5 hrs to a dealer for an oil change is not practical.
Is there any hope that earlier 2023 models can have a larger window overlay screen for the reverse camera? The PDC warning display can be smaller and a bigger window for the reverse camera. Can we enlarge the overlay window like you do on a computer? It’s tiny!!! It has previously been said it cannot be done due to hardware. I’m curious to know if this is the camera (aspect ratio/resolution) or the screen itself? Why? and can this be retro fitted to 2023 models who were the first customers...
When will we be getting more service locations in the UK ? In the South where I’m from the dealer network is sparse due to closures. We were promised initially that we would have independent service (Bosch) agents. This has not come to fruition. I know from people I have spoken to that this puts them off of buying a Grenadier. Ineos must know this is effecting sales so what are they going to do about it ? Thanks for this initiative. It’s a positive step forward.
Will the heating system ever be fixed properly on all vehicles. Mine is a 2023 and the heating system is eratic at best but generally doesn't do what you want when you want. Auto is useless. It has had the bleeding procedure done numerous times but it's still ineffective. Hot air at the back and cool up front on drivers side until on max heat. Turn rear vents off helps, turn side vent off helps. Or air on feat and face. Lower than max heat blows cold on feet. The random combinations are endless
Dear INEOS, A considerable number of Grenadiers are exhibiting a loud, high-pitched whining noise from the power steering unit. This issue is not isolated and is being widely reported across the owner community. The noise is intrusive and severely detracts from the driving experience—especially when driving with the windows or safari window open. More importantly, it undermines the vehicle’s overall perception. The Grenadier makes a strong visual impression, but that is quickly undone the...
Will Ineos expand its footprint in North America to create additional vehicle service centers? Partner with BMW for engine service or expand dealership locations? Having to drive 3 plus hours to a dealership for service, software updates and service reminder resets is not ideal.
Add a Towing tab to the Console Menu which can show at minimum: Turbo PSI; and Exhaust Gas Temperatures (EGT). Both are critical to monitor when towing a van or trailer. This may be as simple of adding these to the existing Temperatures Menu. The BMW engine ECU monitors both these items.
Allow categories of tyre/tire pressures alerts based on usage, user adjustable like: Sand Gravel/Offroad Rock crawling Mud Towing On road The user can then swap between categories, as needed. The alerts will trigger on the high and low limits set for each category. Or at least give the user 3 categories which they can name. For me that would be On road, Towing and Sand. Plus be able to clear alerts, like the tyre pressure warnings.
Despite 2yrs of my handsfree being unusable there still doesn't seem to be any confirmation from Ineos that this is a known fault, especially when many others have complained about it. I would like to request recognition that this is an issue and a plan for resolution
Question to Lynn: can you please make the "engaging the diff locks" process simpler? The nanny system is enoying. At least make it an option. Ideal scenario: push the button, the diffs lock, push it again, they unlock. It is not rocket science 😀.
Timeframe for technical manuals and bi-directional diagnostic tool. (latter to include tpms and service reset)
When will we be able to reset ourselves (or a not official Ineos dealer) the maintenance schedule (through an OBDII tool or any other trick)? It is very frustrating to have an oil change (doing it yourself or through a non official dealer) and not be able to reset ourselves the warning, especially when you are far away from a dealer, and indeed this problem is more annoying for Australia, African countries, Asia and the Americas than in Europe.
When will we have access to the 'before launch' "promised" maintenance and technical manuals? Some of us are already owners since more than two years, and no access at all!
It appears to me from driving more than one example, in high range the transmission is programed with gear holding/shifting, and tq converter slip such that for everyday street use the unit behaves in an unrefined and abrupt manner unconducive to smooth driving when stopping or in traffic. This increases with both positive and negative pitch of the nose, perhaps as an effort to control speed on hills, but with an aggressiveness that is excessive for dry pavement use, with the side effect of...
