I was just about to suggest trying yourself. How much did you say for the tow bar?

Attached should be my quote, they have priced the trailer module up without me asking for it

I can do one better than that, I'll beat the towbar price and the service price too. How does £439 for a second service sound? You could tie in both jobs on the same visit. Then £1699 for the towbar install since you already have the module.

Unfortunately your just to far away , probably going to leave the towbar until I actually need one , then I'll just get mine serviced locally

There is a Premier inn basically next door, get a cheap night mid week, might still work out a lot cheaper even with fuel costs

It probably would , I will look into it more nearer the time , but I'm only off for 2 weeks from work so tow bar will have to wait till winter

There is one next door to be fair, I think the interior is still dated from the 70s 😂 unless they've refurbished in the last couple years

I stopped in it a few years back for 1 night & yes, it's dated. It was quite an odd Premier inn compared to all the others

There's another further up the road too, but the nicest places to stay are just on the skirts of the city. It's difficult recommending a place to stay as you never tend to need a hotel in your own city unless you've pissed the missus off enough. I used to live near Oxford, last place I stayed in was The Sally, probably 4 miles from here, but totally out the city and very nice.

Currently waiting on Ineos Edinburgh to get back to me - following several emails and phone calls from my end over the last 2 weeks. Not a big problem but initially thought rear large window water was condensation - transpires it is a leak when rain comes in from certain directions. Still waiting on email / call back - not overly Impressed but I try not to speak negatively online, but if anyone from Edinburgh Ineos is reading this - your customer service is poor to say the least!!. I am based towards Dufftown and fingers crossed will be able to use Marshalls when someone does get back in touch. Will keep you posted

Is it from the large rear door, mine leaks too. Waiting to be fixed by Chester dealer when next in, fingers crossed

I think there's a TSB out for a leak where the larger door required reworked with a small bit of sealer to stop a run of water down it

Yep its the large rear door windows - been and issue since I first took charge of vehicle in November - as I said my initial thoughts were possible condensation - main concern is for winter as the freeze thaw is a real problem here

I finally got a reply off of Edinburgh, contacted ineos live chat (they have been great) who then contacted Edinburgh but I heard nothing so I lodged a complaint so it got moved up to more senior people in ineos , got a reply from Edinburgh the next day .

Gl don't seem to do warranty work only servicing

Also dingwall might be a bit closer , there slightly expensive for services but they also do warranty work

Is that Grange Ineos Edinburgh no longer doing warranty work? Disappointing if that’s the case (although the customer service is close to nonexistent) as it’s very convenient.

STC were brilliant the one time I have used them and they even know what a phone is.

Gl marshals up in Huntly are not

Still waiting to hear back from Edinburgh Ineos - couldn't find Ineos Live chat so emailed Uk customer services. Given phone number yesterday morning at Ineos Edinburgh for someone at Aston Martin Edinburgh and awaiting response ????. Would be nice (and professional) if point of contact was posted for Edinburgh Ineos warranty issues. If and when I obtain details I will promulgate onsite - wonder if new buyers are made aware of warranty concerns / follow up at Edinburgh during purchase ??

Picked my Grenny up this morning, great job on the service and another wheel alignment. Car going great. One noticeable difference is the lack of wear on discs and pads - never got a modern landcover product past 2 years without changing them, the grenny is less than half worn. Sore on tyres though. Warranty work completed for the jobs that the parts were delivered for.
Anyone with a set of steel wheels and off-road/winter tyres they want rid of could give me a shout.
