Drove 300+miles down to Cornwall, driven down Cornish roads or tracks , been driving through rain water all day through flooded roads , it’s been great to drive , very easy , very comfortable and gets me through anything. Even all my faults have dropped off , heating gone funny , hot or cold and nothing in the middle . Love the growl of the engine !

Welcome to the community @simonpma and what a great way to start. Sounds like you’re really having fun.

Did you use the breadcrumb option on the navigation at all? I’ve not heard too much from people about it yet.

Happy travels :)

Hot AND cold? What more could you want?

That sounds good. We are also planning to go to Cornwall again. Maybe back to our cottage in Looe.
I'm still struggling with the heating and air conditioning settings too. Today my windscreen fogged up again, even though I activated the nozzles on the windscreen. I only managed to clear it when the fan was in the highest position.

Had many a great holiday in looe many great memories at forest holidays deerpark long drive from Glasgow but worth every mile .

A bit random , but we'll be in Cornwall in just over 2 weeks, mostly to do the self guided coastal walk.
If I see any Grens on the roads, I'll wave! If I see them on the coastal path I'll call the coppers!

Hmm- all this heat/cold issues makes me think the coding for the solenoid that controls the air flap between heat and cold isn't done right.
Air flap with blocked/misaligned foam seal would be my first check.

Back from Cornwall, 1075 miles covered, lost half of screen today , PDC error added to my list, radio turns on and off when it wants, clunks as it drops into second gear , love this petrol engine , sounds great when pushed , had a few bits fall off , love it the more I drive it

Was going to give a thumbs up for the positives but a WTF symbol might have been more appropriate.

Bloody hell.

I had a mate who owned a Disco 2. He absolutely loved the thing, but it was forever at the dealers getting fixed because something was wrong with it.

That’s not the sort of relationship I want with the IG.

Seems it's raining quite a lot indeed in our region. I had to drive in heavy rain the last days, including today, and I agree the heating-air-conditioning-defogging is quite difficult to understand. I also only manage to do it in the "highest" position.

But, driving in the rain at 120 km/h isn't an issue at all, the car behaves very well!

Funny isn't it, you'd never see this sort of comment from say someone who'd bought a similar priced BMW. They'd be dumping it back at the dealer demanding their money back.

Grenadeers are made of Sterner Stuff!

I think the same could be said of most American buyers - present company aside. But if IA wants to matter in the US market, these kinks all need to be worked out, otherwise Karen would like to speak to the manager.

Will Karen's be at the front of the queue though?

Is there a way to actually turn the radio on and off? Mine was still playing after the ignition was switched off and I had no idea how to just switch it off. 😬

What bits have actually fallen off?

Very good , going back in Monday with my list of “to do’s”
Can you share your list? 👍

But you saw the manic grin on most old Defenders drivers faces. That’s to compare.
