Windshield Wiper Issue

Seems a lot of dealers in US west are applying windshield protection film (12mil)...wondering if this makes the wiper performance better or worse? Is this common in other regions?
Worse because they scratch up over a period of time and will need polishing.

Lovely… tried a new pair (Bosch Evo16) and still experiencing non-stop chatter. Bosch ICONS and OEM’s were the same. Windshield gets too grippy once the wipers make several passes. At first it’s smooth, then it just keeps getting worse. If I spray the windshield, it smooths out for maybe 5 swipes and then back to chatter.

I just had the 2-year service which included new wiper blades. Driving around today in the rain and they work fine. I had a little chatter when the Gren was new, but not enough to complain about. I do put this on 2-3 times per year (not a product-specific endorsement, just get something similar).

I think some type of glass treatment could solve everyone's problem. Back when I started to use silicone wiper blades a treatment like RainX was mandatory to stop chatter.

I had the exact issue early on.

Try the Bosch Conventional frame Micro Blades. And if you still have chatter then tweak the arms a bit to get more pressure.

Do you happen to have a link to the ones you pointed out?
I slapped a pair of OEM blades back on and no chatter which I find very strange. The only difference is that there’s light rain vs before.
