I discovered a bear den last fall. I dropped a pin on it and reported it to research study the WI DNR are doing. They invited me along today to do the sedating, capture, radio collaring, ear tagging and a bunch of sampling. It was a sow with three cubs. A great day.

In my case Cerro Dragon, which is on Santa Cruz Island. First stop of the ship after we left the airstrip on Baltra.

This moose came walking past our campsite last September in Wyoming. Pretty close. About 250ft / 76m away. Sloooowly walk past.
