It's like that BMW is recognizing market trends that consumers are embracing nostalgia and in some cases, seeking something entirely different than the ubiquitous melted jelly bean design language. Look at the Bronco, our beloved Grenadiers, the staying power of the G Wagen, and in markets outside of North America, the 70 series Land Cruiser.

Would be a great synergy to buy Ineos to rival Mercs G class. Give it a V8 and swap the badge. Ineos badge fell off anyway so I may buy a BMW badge and stick it on and I would be the first.

What's interesting in the article is BMW would build the vehicle in the USA. That would get around the tariff issue. You could build North America in USA and they ROW in Hambach.

More I talk about it, they just instill me as head of merger and implementation.

I mean it makes sense BMW is the largest exporter of Auto's in North America... lol Well they were at one point dunno if that still holds true.

LOL, BMW buying Ineos. BMW wants nothing to do with a live axle truck. Ineos v Defender sales tall them all they need know about that competition. They are looking to capture market share, outside of the X crossover glorified cars.
