I’m wondering if anyone has come up with a better, more robust solution for the Weboost antenna cradle - not the main mounting bracket, but the cradle at the head of the antenna. It’s a flimsy piece of plastic that slides into the rack/bar T-slot and then is secured with a zip tie. I have Leitner bars and secured the butt end of the WeBoost antenna using Leitner’s TrakLok bolts and nuts. Would like to find a similar solution for the other end of the antenna (with a cradle).

I couldnt get my cradle to align right so I'm running without it.
I'm very careful to raise the antenna every time I go on a bumpy road

Mine aligns and works fine - I just don’t like it and would like to find something a little stronger and more streamlined

Haha - finally found something I like.

This guy makes stuff for GoFast and Super Pacific campers and RTT’s, including mounts and cradles to mount on a vertical face with a T track (like the side of a RTT). I saw a video of the mounts on a YT Sprinter build and thought they looked great - I have NEVER liked the WeBoost mount. The cradle is just plastic and attaches with a zip tie to my Leitner bars. Andrew Baum, the owner of ASG, looked up the Leitner specs, picked the kit for me, and I installed the mount earlier today. Solid aluminum, bolts in with T nuts to the back face of my rear Leitner bars. No movement, no rattling, and gains me 4” of additional clearance! The antenna head is only 1/2” above the bar. Should work for any of you with a RTT or rack with T track on the side. You can also mount in the fore/aft orientation- that’s how most people mount it. I have mine mounted sideways since I have the Leitner cross-bars.

@TheDocAUS - not sure where to post this vendor on the guide.

Depending on your RTT or rack, the GFC mount might be better - the Leitner track is about .45” across. Not sure about GFC - but Andrew was really helpful figuring it out.
