after washing the car I noticed that there are two water leaks on the back of the trunk. one right and one left.

I assume they come from the fixing screws of the external handles on the roof.

any experience or advice?

thanks

I wouldn't assume. I'd cover the screws with tape and try again.

Hi @ORSO
You say additional rubber seals. Were there any seals fitted previously?
I noted when I had some of those screws out to attach auxiliary lights there were dimpled rubber seals under the screw heads. In one location the seal was missing.

I wet-installed everything with a low grade black silicon sealant to ensure it was water tight and I haven't noticed any leaks.PXL_20230916_062516403.jpg

Hi @DaBull Thanks for your regular contributions to the forum. I hope you're enjoying your vehicle.

That's an ARB Base Rack Auxiliary 10W LED. I posted about it over here. Should be available from ARB USA. Scroll to post #10 of that thread to see some action pics. I liked this light because it mounts over the rail bracket and doesn't need a tube clamp. The ARB-supplied plugs need to be swapped over to DTP to connect to the roof outlets.
