Good day, everyone. I am delighted to be here as a new owner of the Ineos Grenadier Trialmaster in Sela green. I have made some modifications to my vehicle, including the addition of checker plates, side steps, and BlackRhino wheels.

As I frequently engage in deep water crossings and mud adventures, I found it necessary to have a raised air intake and front and rear differential locks.

I hope to share cool videos very soon 😍🌹

Welcome to the forum! Just remember that the raised air intake doesn't increase water fording depth!

Hello there! Thank you for the kind advice. I am aware that the raised air intake does not increase the water fording depth. However, it does prevent water from flooding through the vehicle's airbox and into the engine while pushing water, which is very important.

Welcome to the forum, as Anand tells you, the elevated intake "IS NOT WATERPROOF" does not increase the depth of wading, nor does it prevent water from entering its connection with the body of the car, it is not a Snorkel, it is only there for the intake Air is carried out at the top, preventing a large amount of dust from entering.

Greetings

Yes, I went through some of his posts and understood that it is a raised air intake. It was never introduced as a snorkel unfortunately,It is good to know this before it is too late. Nevertheless, most of the vehicles we drive on wade and deep crossings do not have snorkels, so I will try to be more careful with IG. Thank you 🌹
