I think I’ve posted somewhere in this thread but it bears repeating. We try to maintain common barman conversation avoidance of politics and religion and ask that we leave that stuff for other platforms.
This thread topic is very meaningful to our community but unfortunately it’s too intertwined with politics for us to not butt in.
It speaks volumes about our membership that even when things veer into these topics, everyone remains level headed and generally respectful. The same cannot be said of FB and a whole slew of other forums.
Nevertheless, we’re going to shut this thread down as a preemptive move to maintain that decorum.
