There's an official Ineos brochure offering Australian owners "protection" options for the Grenadier consisting of ceramic paint coating, ceramic window tint and an extended (up to 5yrs) 'insurance-based' warranty for a total sum of over A$7,400 for the all inclusive package !
I note that the warranty specifies claims paid "in accordance with age and condition of the vehicle". 🙄
I am not averse to window tint...
The ceramic coating, according to my local well established panel repair shop is great as long as nothing happens...then it's an expensive PITA to remove, repair and replace...
I will politely decline. just wondering if any other pending Aus. owners have received similar offers?

Some will believe in such an "investment" , and if "the company" is paying for it, even better...
But it's not for me!

I’m keen to see what extended warranty insurance costs are but wasn’t expecting anyone to offer this until the vehicles had hit the ground. I’ve had extended warranties on my G-Wagen since the factory one ran out and they’ve been gold. Got a whole new radiator when my mechanic noted some minor cracking where plastic met alloy.

I’m on the second FIVE year extended warranty and each has cost about A$2500. The current one is more limited due to the age & mileage of the vehicle but will transfer to the new owner which is an added selling point.

Not worth a cent - good luck actually claiming against such protections.
I know there are plenty of sad stories online about people having claim’s rejected but they nearly always involve failures to keep to the service schedule. I’ve had two no fuss claims in seven years, one was a biggie.

Sometimes it's worth getting the factory Tint because it's no unknown for the "tinters" to damage door cars, break windows mechanisms etc. If the dealer does it it's their problem.

My mobile tint guy has quoted $450 to do ceramic all round. 30% front & the darker 20% for rear. He's done all my cars over the years. Coating and wraps don't last and are just trouble long term. I'll look at extended warranty in the 4th year. Swan Insurance gets a good wrap from my mechanic. Eric Insurance also.

Definitely don’t want the dodgy non factory extended warranties. I have ordered the Privacy glass so would only consider front door tinting but thats only a couple of hundred $ worth. I am interested in some kind of paint protection, a quality ceramic coating from a specialist is about $1500 so if the dealer can be competitive I would consider. Also considering a clear wrap, but that’s getting to up to $10k+

The product quoted is "F1Williams" brand. $1,990 external, $650 internal or $2,350 for both.
The "Premium Ceramic" window tint is A$550 (total) for the two front windows, $1,250 for full vehicle ...add $550 for the Safari windows...
Interesting price point comparisons.... RACQ (Royal Automobile Club of Queensland for our international forumites..) is offering "large SUV", "nano-ceramic" tint, lifetime guarantee, A$550....

Ineos or your local dealer??
Sounds a lot more like a local dealer thing to me

'Official Ineos Local Dealer" Closer inspection ...local dealer (y)
Yes, I think the dealers will put their own packages together, if they are already car dealers for other brands they will likely already have deals in place with suppliers
