Tazzie's trips

I've watched a few of Tyler's videos, not bad!

It appears (at first) that those Patrols are super capable.

Looking in a bit more detail, my guess is that you could almost buy a new Grenadier with the cost of the (sponsored) upgrades.
Tyler rebuilt an 80 series Landcruiser with a Ford engine transplant, 500hp. $150000 overall cost, but he admitted if he wasn't a youtuber with a very good mechanic (Burto, what a legend!) it wouldn't have happened. He's a very likeable, capable and smart guy. Ex teacher, now "living his best life" as people are prone to say these days .

Another mainland group tackled the very challenging Cumberland track. I doubt a Grenadier will see this track, given the poor turning circle, and needing a lift and bigger tyres.
And someone able to absorb the pain of panel damage!
I'm happy to tour around the area and hike the track to the lake!

Does the weather always suck on Tasmania? I swear every video I've watched, it's windy and rainy.
West Coast gets the full force of the Southern Ocean. Rains 300 days a year and the other 65 , rain drips from the trees.
The East Coast is relatively flat , dry and beachy/cliffy.
In all places you can get 4 seasons in a day!

Leaving one day every four years where the weather is perfect.
February 29th 2028 is looking good. Book your flights.

What I like about Tassy weather is the lack of this sort of thing spoiling my day -
''After weeks of violent storms , more severe weather is on the way for Queensland's south east as well as northern NSW, with destructive winds and giant hail forecast.
The area south of Brisbane was thrashed by hail as big as golf balls last night''

Good way to get large dents on the veneer of alloy covering the Grenadier.
