That looks like a cap for a line - a pretty common artifact on items supplied as subassemblies. It probably came off something during manufacturing and wasn’t discarded properly. It is not made of a material that would be used to cap a line in an operational environment, so I wouldn’t worry about trying to discover a location it belongs in now.Just did my first oil change and after taking off the engine cover I found a small white rubbery thing sitting on top of the engine. Anyone have an idea what it is?
