Hi Everyone -

New Fieldmaster. Over the past couple days the CCI knob has developed a high pitched squeak when turning the knob.

Any suggestions? Was silent when I bought it a week ago.

Thanks!

Can I pull the knob off and lube it?

Thanks!

You may have something trapped under it. You could try an air duster or a can of compressed air with a straw to shoot some air under it. See if you can feed a lens tissue or cloth under the dial and work it around a bit.
The centre of the CCI knob is a touch pad on BMWs. That's not a feature of our vehicles but some of the bits may still be built in to support it. I'd hasten slowly.

Thanks. Good suggestion. I’ll try it and update this weekend.
