Some interesting in driving bad tracks? Here we are...

I’ve experienced some pretty bad tracks whilst living in Malawi. Here are pictures from a journey into Mozambique
Second picture top right is my Hilux waiting for my turn to attempt the run. I made it but I had to gun it and work it hard. Great fun
I was in Central Africa years ago and the roads were many times worse than this.

Lack of good road infrastructure is why many of these countries do not progress. Goods are much more expensive than developed countries because of this. Very sad 😢 And the whole situation in DRC is shocking. You couldn’t go through there now as I did in 1995 when it was Zaire It’s still possible to drive through Western DRC on a trans Africa trip down west coast but roads in that whole region aren’t good.
