Sort of.

I was able to track down some where's and when's of the cage arrival in the US.

Where? Rovers North. Specifically, zach@roversnorth.com. Just call Rovers North and ask for Zach. If you've had a Defender you likely already know Zach.

When? SD told me fall of '25, but Zack said spring of '26... With the idiocy going on now? I'm just going to choose to remain optimistic and assume it gonna happen.

Now what you've all been waiting for.... COST! Keep in mind, there are Big Beautiful taxe... errr tariffs to be paid, and in case you haven't figured it out yet, YOU pay them. The importer just passes thru to you.

Individual purchase Guestimate with tariff's, was somewhere just under $8K per..

If we can do 5 units, he's pretty sure he can do $6200 with tariffs, and down into the "5's... if tariff's are gone by then".

Keep in mind, they come palatalized in a shipment to RN, so, that cost does not include your state tax or shipping. It's just at RN's door, you install. For me it's a good reason to do a North East run, and do some wheeling and fly fishing with old friends. And drinking, can't leave that out.

All Zach want's is 25% down, when it all gets a little clearer and he can submit an order.

I'm not handling anything other than being a pitchman. I'm getting one either way. Zach is the importer, money man, and purchase contact. SD has been around for ever, and so has RN. Zach has made a life at RN so, this isn't some squirrely Group Buy from a garage welder that's gonna go sideways when his recovering hooker girlfriend gets high on a trail ride, starts working the tents for meth money, and he slips on his tears and falls off an arch in Utah. (<-- may make a good AI illustration)

But please post interest/commitment so the rest of us can keep tabs on progress.

As I learn more, I will update the post. I happen to be leaving for Italy in an hour, so I'll keep checking in periodically and updating the list.

For those that Drawered up the rear already, I knew there would be some Q's, so here's a pic of the rear internal cage. I have not seen an install schematic, but, on the Defender there were internal sections behind the sideways seats in the back that tied the cage thru. Due to superior tub construction here, I'm guessing it takes the place of those.

I've gone back to platforms and boxes/duffles, and dislike permanent furniture, so I'm good with this. It may be a deal breaker for others if it can't be eliminated, but I thought you should see it as it sits in the design phase now.

I don't have the second row cage view yet.

I’ll add my two cents that RN is good people. Their setup in Vermont is fantastic and they are very helpful. Like Zimm said, if you’re coming from a Series or proper Defender you should already know RN.
