Few things are more disheartening, than winding up your fishing lines when its 90*, diving in for a popsicle, and your 1973 Norcold decided 39* was the temperature for the day.
 
Sad indeed. It lived a good life. Perhaps an Engle 45 is an option for replacement. Mine has been humming along for just over 20 years now.

It seems to fluctuate in the freeze zone temps if not on full freeze 24/7 running, which I tried to avoid due to sketch battery charging in the ineos. I got cute.

I have a National Luna That’s twice the size and uses 10 less watts, but the old size 30 (or smaller actually) norcold is just so handy and packable.

It’s r12, so when it dies, it’s done.
