Rear Door Sensors

Hello RealGWagen!

Did your dealer fix the problem and if so, what did he do?

My sensor does not seem to work properly. On rough terrain or even potholes or crossing railroads, the Grenadier complains that the rear doors are open...

My dealer said, that the probles is the door locks. These would be changed anyway and then the problem should be gone... I doubt that, as the door lock work fine...

Yes, they were able to fix the problem. It was a bad door latch/sensor. I got the impression that it is one part that includes both the latch and the sensor unit and for me it was the smaller door. It was a quick fix cover under warranty. I can call them and perhaps get a part number from them. I was not able to stay for the printing of my paperwork as I was late for a work meeting.
