Couldn’t find a thread that suited this theme. I’m travelling without my Grenadier so didn’t seem appropriate to post in “Logslitters travels in his Grenadier “
So here goes for anyone to post their travel photos and a brief description.

Up in the Nilgiri hills of southern India. We were a few vehicles back from the coach and got out to see what the hold up was, on this narrow road with many hairpin bends. Basically all the young dudes in their Mahindra “Jeeps” keep overtaking everyone on very dangerous roads, then they meet a coach or truck that needs to swing wide around the bends or in this case a whole convoy of Jeeps overtaking and trying to bully they way up the mountain. Weekends are crazy here, young kids in 4x4 s being stupid. Anyway road blocked and coach full of drunk passengers and it all kicked off ! A fight started and many rocks started to be thrown , then an army of young men running up the hill to join in 😳. People started to run so we thought we better get the **** out of there. We ran up the hill to our vehicle, managed a very awkward five point turn and escaped , via a different but longer route. Scary 😬

Here’s hoping that the curry powder and heat of cooking kill any pathogens 😬 The local beef butcher shop in Kumily, Kerela, India 😬

This is exactly why I can't travel to interesting places. 🤢🤮
To be fair the food has been great in India, but you do have to choose where you eat though. And that’s coming from someone who’s had all sorts of issues on my travels inc. Giardia, amoebic dysentery, Bilharzia and others. . Curry spices must sterilise I guess 😂
where I’m staying now would suit the most feint hearted. Check out Phillipkutty’s Farm in Kerela. It’s sublime and the food amazing.
