I'm a core member of the Southeast WI Pheasants' Forever prescribed fire burn team. We are gearing up for our 2026 season which starts in a couple of weeks weather depending. Here I am igniting a burn line with a drip torch.

That was a grand day out, explored quite a few new trails in Anza Borrego State Park that I hadn’t been on before.

About to sip some local ale at the end of a perfect autumn day. Been doing outside plumbing most of it.
Sitting at my little pub I've named the "Ring & Pinion" , after dismantling a broken Fiat diff as old as me.
And yes, that is a series Landy cab in the background.

And whilst we no longer have a dog, my wife thought this shrub would do for now.
