I have had a PDC error since I took delivery. The Ineos Agent eventually fixed at the first service after some discussion with Ineos Automotive Australia.
There is apparently a switch which disables PDC when the handbrake is on. That switch needed adjustment.

After a few months the problem PDC error has come back. I thought i'd try to adjust myself.

Before I do, has anyone dug into the handbrake area and found switches? If so, where abouts?

Cheers,
Steve

Hey Steve

There is a microswitch in the handle mount. It operates the light in the telltale panel plus disconnects cruise control if the handbrake handle is raised while driving. Not a stretch to believe it's also in the PDC circuit.
It's visible if you pop out the handle boot. Best thing is to get your face close and listen for it clicking.
It's mounted on the right side of the handle but access is obstructed by the centre console structure. You can see it if you remove the trim panel from the right side of the centre console. I wanted to adjust it a while ago because it was tripping off my cruise control but I gave up and added some more cable tension to pull the handle onto the stop and keep the microswitch open. I'll wait to get access to the manual to see how to adjust it.

My handle goes back to a hard stop. Mine started doing the same after one day when it felt like when pulling the handle it jumped a couple teeth on a gear, now a little easier to pull. Could tightening the cable do the trick do you think?

You could test it by raising the handle enough to cause the micro to operate. When the micro trips the light should illuminate on the telltale panel and you might get the PDC error. Conversely if you can stop the PDC error by holding the handle down you may have your answer. Of course there might be another micro fitted somewhere. I've only located this one so far.

The cable adjuster is under the back seat. Hidden below the smartpass if you have the dual battery option. Don't get carried away with the cable tension. The handle should raise about 3-4 clicks using a reasonable pull force. Any less and it's probably too tight. Much more and the freeplay will let the handle flop around.
