There are many reports on off-road use which, however, for many of us remains a non-dominant percentage of overall use. So I'm referring to the journey I made today to reach my usual place on a mountain holiday. In the past, the 800 km journey with the Defender, between the motorway and narrow mountain roads, made me rather tired to get to the destination. Today the 800 km flew by in an instant and Micaela and I arrived serene and rested. At an average speed of 120 km/h, the average fuel consumption was 13.2 l/100km, acceptable, with the air conditioning always on and in perfect working order. Anxiety-free overtaking, stable and consistent even in traffic, when needed great acceleration and power reserve. Great sense of security, radio and classical music listenable in excellent quality. Warning lights always off, thanks to the reset procedure when turned on... Years of waiting fully paid off...

It's been over four hours, I'm calling my doctor.

Sounds good, the Grenadier is in a different league to the old Defender particularly on road.
