Today I found a new interview with my friend and colleague HC Maurer.
He's a very experienced 4x4 guy, 30+ years in the 4x4 and rallye businnes, incl. Dakar, several Baja and any desert races, you name it, as a driver and navigator. Vehicles: from side-by-side up to trucks....btw. his girlfriend also drives Dakar ( service truck)
He repairs your gearbox, tunes your engine or develops ypur own rallye-approved fuel gauge.
He helps me with my engine overhaul stuff and he's the guy mounting the lights I sell on customer cars as he is an electrical engineer.
He runs his own workshop near Stuttgart, Germany. He was Amadeus Matzker's Navigator and they made a few very crazy desert drivings in Africa in the 90ties (the former owner of the Grenadier Dealer Matzker, Cologne, who died by neck break while desert driving a few years ago).
He was asked about old and new 4x4 car technology which also includes the Grenadier .
