Good morning all,

Random one. Car went in for a service at Grange - Solihull on Monday. There they re-gassed the Air-Con as I could hear a sloshing noise and was told it was due to the air-conditioning being low. It has worked until this morning when jumping in the car, usual start up procedure but screen went black and following a press and hold of the Mute Button, screen came back but no red light to indicate the air-conditioning is back up and running.

I've tried turning it off for 5 mins and also manually restarting the infotainment neither have worked.
Has anyone had the A/C fuse blow (I haven't checked but will do at lunch)?

Many thanks,
James

Check the A/C fuse first. It's a common fix.

Since the screen went black, it could also be a system glitch from the recent work. Try disconnecting the car battery for 10 minutes to reset all the electronics. This often clears up weird issues after a service.

If that doesn't work, take it back to Grange. They touched it last, so they should fix it for free. It might be a faulty pressure sensor or a wiring issue they caused.
