I borrowed my brother’s box trailer last weekend, drove it home the 300km and then parked it up for the week.
I have a Narva Euro pin to 7 pin flat adapter and left the trailer hooked up to the grenny with the trailer plug still connected all week.
I got in the grenny this morning and straight up got a low battery red warning- 50%. My vehicle very rarely gets below 88-90%. I have stock twin batteries.
Anyway drove it up to the new apartment- 30km and by the time I got there I was on 100%. Strange as I can’t ever remember being 100%, normally peaks at high 90’s.
So anyway, thought I’d share, as I’m sure I’m not the only one who wouldn’t think twice about leaving a trailer plugged in for a few weeks which could have drained them flat.
Gremlin - who knows, but I also didn’t think just being hooked up to a box trailer (lights only when in use) would draw life from the battery.

13 pin left in with no issues. However that's with standard filament trailer bulbs, I haven't left the trailer with LEDs plugged in.
