Hello! Brand new here from New Hampshire, USA. Just got a Grenny 1924 and it's my first "off road" vehicle. Coming from an F-150, and sporty cars in my years past.

Another hobby of mine which I spend a significant amount of time and money on is Adventure motorcycles. I recently sold a 2021 BMW R1250GSA, leaving a 2026 Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally and 2024 KTM 350 EXC-f in the garage.

I got the Grenadier because something about the rugged looks and utilitarian nature drew me in when they came to the US not long ago. I was always excited to see one in person. So here I am.

I don't really intend on rock crawling with it like some people do around here with their jeeps. But I do have interest in hitting some unmaintained roads here and in Vermont, along with camping in Maine. I'll be looking for a motorcycle hitch carrier to carry my KTM to off-road events in the summer time (probably mototote).

I am noticing some of the usual complaints about these like the HVAC, clunk when steering over bumps, blue leak/drip under vehicle. All things I'll bring up to the dealer. Certainly a bit concerning with a vehicle that costs so much but I'll see what happens.

I love looking at this thing, love the looks it gets, and look forward to driving it everyday so I'm willing to look past some of the negatives I'm noticing.

I feel much like you about my feelings for my Grenadier! They’re just fun and have the perfect rugged feel. I fell in love with it bc I have always loved the old Defenders. Congrats!
