What’s the underside like? Can you give a precise measurement of the recess?

We are in the process of getting color badges for that very spot but have not yet seen what’s under the factory badge. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

I've seen only one badge off and it was on Facebook with someone getting a wrap. It's 3m tape with two pins

Sort off topic but on topic if you see what I mean the plastic kick plates on the door sills are only held on by VHB so I. take it the badge on the bonnet is thee same.
It always seems to be the rears that do this...

Difficult to tell, I got the impression that what had come off was an enamel very thin cover to the section that fits into the bonnet slot. So this thin cover is only held on by some not so good double sided sticky tape, not 3M quality, and positioned by two very small 1mm pins. There is no recess for this cover as such just a 1mm rim on the cover to hold it in place. Unfortunately I had gorilla glued it back before I picked up your thread otherwise I could have investigated further.

I have had one of the Ineos badges fall off one of the wheels as well as the red rear bumper reflector which I had to replace. You can find them on Amazon are most parts places online as they are an off the shelf Hella part.
I think they are not cleaning the area properly before application.

I have never used a pressure washer on the painted surface of a car. Just be careful man! Those are for the undercarriage only. I know it is tempting to shoot that bad boy at the body, but don’t!

Has anyone removed the rectangular INEOS badge on the 70 door lower right corner?

I want to be certain it’s just a decal with no holes. I assume it is, but was hoping someone knew for certain.
