Model Year 2026 (MY26) – Confirmed & Speculated Changes

What is a steering box, isn’t that what Owl was calling the new steering pump in some literature?

WHAT’S IN THE BOX!!!! COME’on. WHAT’S IN THE BOX….
The steering box on my Grenadier has some play and the power steering pump makes noise. So a box without play would tighten up the steering and well, a different pump would hopefully be silent. Simple things but a big ask for Ineos :D. Owl offers a replacement pump, which reportedly is silent. An option I might consider to eliminate the noise, but I would not expect much difference in steering response contrary to what they suggest.

I saw one today at the dealer, the double headlight ring looks really terrible.

It makes me think of cheap Chinese Jeep headlights, except they’re not even dumb enough to put two identical rings inside one another.
Are these the DRL and turn signal ring? I’ve disabled my DRL’s and turn them on as needed. Didn’t like the MB-look.

Anyone here have a '26? I'm curious to see the key. I wonder if they're different from the "new" ones I got when my locks were changed.

It's becoming another nanny state legal requirement in many countries now
Just wait until you get this:

Fifty-seven Republicans voted with the vast majority of Democrats on Thursday to keep a Biden-era mandate enabling government remote control of vehicles, drawing backlash from conservatives like Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The group voted to defeat an amendment proposed by Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., that would have rolled back government requirements for the development of a "kill switch" to disable the cars of impaired drivers.

That amendment failed by a 164-268 vote.

I saw a 26 model today at the dealers while I was getting my service warning reset. The steering damper looks different. I took a picture...

According to the Tech and the Salesman the steering feels stiffer but does return to centre on its own..

I could be wrong about the damper, It was pissing down and I didn't bother checking under an older car...
