Model Year 2026 (MY26) – Confirmed & Speculated Changes

I saw two 2026 Grenadiers at my dealership. Two visible changes I saw was a smaller, more flush rear view mirror with auto-dimming, improvement to the headlights with possible auto high-beam. Two light rings in the headlight instead of one. HVAC system appears to be improved but I can’t say for sure without trying it. Hopefully the HVAC improvement can be retrofitted to previous models.
I’ll probably know more by the end of the next week. My new ‘26 Trialmaster has arrived yesterday at the dealership. So gotta get the paperwork and new license plate and then I can check what’s improved.

I saw quite a few '26 models at the local dealer here in MN. They had a couple black editions too. Not sure about specific changes/upgrades yet. Hope to stop in sometime this week or next.

Interesting I didn't know 26s we're coming in already, how do you see the HVAC is improved?

It was mentioned to me while I was at the dealer. I can’t confirm it as I wasn’t able to test it, but from what was said, INEOS has improved the HVAC system.

Making the rear view mirror smaller just means you can see more of the front facing camera.

One more thing mentioned was that it now comes with a driver facing camera as a security feature. Most likely to improve the vehicle's ability to prevent accidents and maintain safe driving conditions by monitoring the driver. Keep us posted once you get the details of you '26 TM.

While all of these things are interesting, the only thing we all really want to see is a pic of the front drive shaft part number. Come on, someone lay in the ground and get us a pic🙏

A driver facing what now??

It’s the usual suspect items we would like to know more about and if any meaningful changes have been made to them for 2026:
  • Front axle geometry changes (alignment specification, etc…)
  • Front pinion angle and driveshaft changes
  • Any changes to steering box ratio to improve feel or reduce turns lock-to-lock, turn radius, etc…
  • TPMS & Service reset functionality
  • Improved windshield glass or factory installed protection options
  • Actual HVAC improvements
  • Infotainment upgrades to improve speed, usability and instrumentation clarity
  • Lasting fixes to door and windows seals
  • Engine/Transmission software upgrades to reduce driveline clunks on low speed downshifts
I’m sure there are more items we could add to the list but I’m far less interested in appearance packages or new creature comforts for the interior at this point. I would prefer IA focus on improving the essentials squawks before going deeper down the rabbit hole and chase the suburban school run crowd with more gadgetry and exclusive luxury trim levels.

I’d sadly guess that can all be wrapped up in one word.

I went the other direction, and clipped a LARGER mirror over the OEM rear view mirror on my ‘24.1
