Lost City West Track

Some have said that a better approach to the obstacles at 4:30 would have been to go straight up the middle with a little more momentum. Thoughts?

I had a great day with the Subaru and Recreational 4WD Club, checking out some campsites near Glen Davis, and driving some tracks in the Gardens of Stone National Park, in NSW Australia, including the track to Lost City West.

A great place to visit. I have visited that area and walked the last bit in my Nissan Patrol days.

The track was in better shape when I did it, except the last part I walked.

Thanks again for the video.

Wow! I used to be a member of that car club, back in the day (when I had a Subaru Forester). Was a lot of fun, and that club taught me a lot of offroad driving, and car camping, skills.

That’s great. If you'd like to message me your name, I’ll let the Club members know I’ve heard from you. (Many of the current members have been there a fair while.) 🙂

Also, are you aware that the Club's 50th Anniversary celebrations are taking place in October? If you go to the Club's new website, you will see the details on the main page. Here’s the link …
