I got a pair of KC Hilites Flex Era 4s in preparation for testing with BenTN's grill mounts. I watched youtube videos on how to wire them to Jeeps and other vehicles. Can anyone provide tips on how to wire them to my Grenadier? I plan to cut off the 3-position switch and relays and connect directly to the aux wires in the engine bay. I just have to figure out how to wire the yellow backlights and the main ones for independent switching on the cockpit overhead switch panel. Any indeas?

Wiring is very simple because of the switches provided in the Grenadier. You use the existing plugs that are on the lights with the supplied splitter loom, then use the wiring loom that connects to that plug, and you cut it where it the wires are exposed (see pic). This will give you plenty of length to route the wire. You will have Black(ground), Red(main light power), and White(DRL Power). Run that loom to where the EXT 1 & EXT 5 wires are located in the engine bay on the drivers side. I hooked up the ground wire from the loom to BOTH the ground wires from EXT 5 & EXT 1. Then I hooked up EXT 5 to the Red main light wire because it has 25a supply. Then I hooked up the white DRL wire to the EXT 1, it's 10a. My Grenadier EXT wires were pretty short so it was tight in there getting the connectors attached properly.
