It's not a G!

I also hate 'Merc', or 'Porker' for Porsche, or Cosi' for Cosworth.

Regards
Philip
Just don't pronounce it Porsh.
Remind people it's Porsha. It is a surname after all.
Some also say Merceedees. I'll let the German Spaniards have the final say.
Now , back to the G spot.
Am I even in the right thread?

Plenty of car brands are pronounced incorrectly...

FIAT should be Fiater
BMW should be Bay em double Vay
All the French brands should have the emphasis on the second syllable (not the first)
It isn't Toyoda
It isn't Neeesan or Nissssan
Folks vaagen not Volks Wagen

As for Hyundai...

To help reduce the obvious stress this topic causes, I’ll make sure my Grenadier knows it’s not allowed to answer to “G.”

That would be most appreciated. It reduces vehicle trauma and generally allows it to live a stress free life.
