Yesterday I was driving along with the Temperature screen showing and a “Cannot see tyre sensors” error appeared. All four Tyre sensors went down at the same time. There was a dash where the PSI and Tyre Temperature should have been For all four tyres.
It corrected itself only after the car was turned off and left overnight and then driving the car the next morning. The error went away about 60 seconds after driving away – sure beats going to the dealer. Idling the car earlier did nothing. Turning the car off and restarting it the previous night did nothing either. When I started driving the next day, the error announced itself but was gone roughly 60 seconds later.
I did speak to the dealer’s service manager and that was a new error for him.
I also had a High Tyre Alert from earlier in the trip and that was corrected at the same time. I will be doing a separate post on that error.
