Just joining in the fun here…

Used to own a lightly modified Disco I, looking forward to potentially getting behind the wheel of a Gren!

Cheers, and thanks for what looks like a great forum!

Welcome Ghempo, Lot's of great folks and info here. You've found the right place.
I had an opportunity to test drive a prototype and it exceeded my expectations in every way.
I will be converting from a reservation holder to ordering one within the next couple weeks.

Thanks DaBull, I'm a little late to the game, but have secured a reservation, and hope to have the means to convert it... at least I'll need a plan by year's end, I suppose.

Unfortunately, I missed any of the close-ish driving events, but it looks like there will be a dealer in my neck of the woods, so maybe I can confirm my strong feelings with some hands-on time once the dealer's doors open! Here's hoping...

Welcome aboard, Ghempo! I have big plans to take my future Grenadier to Cape Hatteras National Seashore to camp out on the beach and search for the wild horses! Have you ever done that with your Disco?

Go to Portsmouth island in OBX. You have to ferry over and it’s just you and the island, we do a week every year and it is the best time! Assuming I convert I will be taking the grenadier there as one of my first trips next spring

All of the reviews I have seen rave about how tight and solid feeling the Grenadier is. They also talk about how solid the doors feel when closing them.

It was actually reported in the Raleigh paper that their US headquarters would be there, but the largest metro area is in Charlotte, so that might be a better spot. Either way, I’m pretty fortunate!

Sadly, I no longer own the Disco (my little sister blew a head gasket while I was overseas), nor have I been to see the horses at Hatteras, though it have seen the wild ones near Beaufort!

Thanks to all for the warm welcome!
