Hey everyone,
I’m checking in from St. Croix in the US Virgin Islands. I’ve been following for a while, but I’m making the leap of faith.
I will be swapping out my 2021 F150 Rocky Ridge K2 for a Fieldmaster. It will be a few weeks of shipping to get it to island, but super excited to have made the purchase.
There won’t be any dealer support for me, so I will be on here looking for a lot of advice! I figure it’s not much different than a really long trip.

Advise? Unless you have what you consider "I don't give a shit" money, I would advise you not to get it if you have no dealer support. As of this moment, they are the only ones with whats needed to work on this thing. Lotsa car repairs need a cable to a computer for completion nowadays, and this is no different except only ineos dealers have the computer.

Congratulations, though.

@Zimm has a good point. At the moment you’re going to need dealer support for software issues/updates…even as simple as clearing/resetting a serviceinterval.

What do you mean by, “ …not much different than a really long trip.”? Where would the closest dealer be for you? Personally, on an island, with no support, and a Grenadier that has some teething issues, I’d stick with whatever dealers you have there as a vehicle choice…. or expand that out if a ferry ride to Puerto Rico is doable.

No worries. I have all the equipment needed to service your new Grenny. I only ask for round trip airfare per session; 7-10 days should be adequate time for any fix…. ;)

As you're in an unsupported region, go into it knowing that service reminder resets, TPMS resets, and any updates will likely require either flying a dealer tech to you or shipping the vehicle back to a dealer

The lack of a dealer is an issue. The nearest would be Ft. Lauderdale. There are only Ford, Jeep and Toyota for any factory support on island. Having a service performed in Ft. Lauderdale prior to shipping it to hopefully push the issue out a bit.
The solution we have used in the past is to fly a tech in on other unsupported vehicles.
It could be a major disappointment and end up shipping it back to FL to sell. Or not.
I have been considering for awhile, lack of warranty support was a reason I didn’t want a new one. I found a used one that made it worth the risk vs. reward for me.
