Hello from Music City

It is a great car, but mine is a diesel model. Petrol model seems just as good.
  1. Well built;
  2. Great off road;
  3. a true off road car;
  4. drives well for a car so aimed at offroad;
  5. you can customize it; and
  6. great factory options.
Make sure you have dealer support nearby. Some links that my help in your decision making process:

I am exploring the possibility of purchasing a Fieldmaster and looking for feedback from current owners.
Lots of real world feedback on this forum, just remember don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see.

Love my Grenadier, great vehicle for practical people but not for high maintenance types or those sensitive to high frequency sounds.

Everything @The DocAUS says.

I have 14 months of ownership, in MusicCity. (Bought out of state before there was a dealer)

Local dealer is responsive and understanding, especially if you’re also understanding. They’re trying, they sorta get it, and they seem to be willing to learn the quirks. I’ve had a good service experience with them.

Poke through the forum and read up about things. I got to know the truck before purchasing through the member experiences, and their solutions for their experiences. I’d ask myself what my temperament was regarding expectations of a new vehicle from a new manufacturer in a spread out dealer network which doesn’t have traditional support of The Mother Company.

Mine’s a daily driver, however, it would be more appropriate if my commute was over a dirt track… it’s still a fun truck on pavement, and even more fun off. Personally I think it drives like a comfortable old truck with CarPlay… But, I also like old trucks. Put some weight in it and behind it? Man, it’s really smooth. I think it tows nicely, though I haven’t had more than 1,000 lbs behind it.

And I’ll mention again: bone stock, it’s a ton of fun off the pavement!
