Hello from Meissen, Saxony, Germany

Hi,

greetings from Germany.
Today I registered the first Ineos number plate in the district of Meissen, Saxony.
If everything fits, I'll pick up the car from the dealer on Thursday.

My Grenadier is an stirling silver Trialmaster with petrol engine. The first ride goes to sardinia in july.
We already wanted to go last year in the summer with the Ineos. Then we had to take the "old" G-Wagon again.

I drive G Class for over 20 years and have several other Mercedes. But now Grenadier with BMW Engine. The new G-Wagon didn't convince me.
The only thing that makes me sad, the Ineos only has 6 cylinders. ;-)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Thursday.
Then I can report how the Grenadier drives.

Congrats! When did you order it and when did you receive your contract? - Just to estimate the timespan - Thank you.

I paid the first reservation on 2021 June 30.
The contract was signed on 2002 May 6.
Then the second deposit to the reservation was on 2022 May 30.
I guess this date is also the official order start date.

Delivery was yesterday, but still missing parts of the equipment (roof rack, additional lighting, awning ...).

I assume you meant May 6 2022 - indeed .. so the average one year.. thx for posting.

It drives really well and so far there have been no problems except for many error messages in the cockpit.
Currently it is for cavity preservation with Mike Sanders.
The real test starts on Friday, when we go to Sardinia.

Last year we were there with the 30 year old G and this year (hopefully) with the 3 month old G(renadier).
