Hiya to all, I’m not a Grenadier owner, I have, like many others followed from the start, you may ask “ Why not?” I am the owner of a 1994 Toyota 80 series 4.2 Diesel mods include 50mm lift c/o Old Man Emu, 1200lb winch BFG All Terrain tyres, this car has 400k miles, been to North Africa 4 times from UK, recently I have been off roading in France with a friend who is French and a Grenadier owner, so I’m very aware of how good the Grenadier is. However, there is not enough “ improvement “ from what I have to change. I have all the usual mods ( Engel fridge, snorkel roof rack intercooler etc) and I am very impressed with Grenadier’s off road prowess, but not impressed by my colleagues dealings with Ineos. I may well be a potential buyer of a Grenadier in the future. I also have a classic 1982 300 Gwagon, and a Land Rover Hybrid 300tdi off Roader which has been driven to events as far as Portugal and closer in Spain, France and Eire. But for overlanding and touring the Cruiser is the choice.
I declare my interest in the Grenadier because in my opinion is it’s a great vehicle and I really like it, however I have no practical reason to change.. yet, you never know eh? Best regards to all, Bill Westley
PS If and when I buy a Grenadier it will be a Left hand drive, yep, I don’t like the “power bulge” for my left foot. I do like the power surge when a heavy right foot is applied though…. Magnificent!!
