The PNs in the IPC are the same PNs listed in the TSB that Shopkeep posted so should be the less rubbish part.The OEM ring is a rubbish part. I think they are programmed to self destruct in 3,2,1...
This would be awesome if it were made of aluminum. Perhaps soon someone will get these made just like the same high quality of the "Button Pusher and the Transfer Case shifter knob knurled" by Grenadier USA. I hope they see this post. INEOS went cheap on so many items for an expensive truck and it seam's to be their style. I cannot believe that the driveshaft has not been fixed by now and are still falling off even on stock trucks.There is an eBay seller offering some sort of plastic replacement in black and maybe a few other colors so I assume the stock button/shroud comes off but how well or durable a replacement would be is anyone’s guess? A simple grey colored replacement similar to the stock unit would be fine but a powder coated aluminum one would be better.
