Looking at the wagon and quartermaster. My concerns are the 4hr drive to the nearest dealer and the chicken tax on the quartermaster. I'm gonna make the drive to look at them on thursday. Does anyone have experience with the northern IL dealer?

I assume you talk about Krauz Ineos - they replaced my windshield. Good experience for that work, no leaks. I’m roughly 4 hrs away too. I did most of the fluids replacement myself so hopefully don’t have to visit them too often.

The sales and service guys at Knauz are great. I took delivery of mine a couple weeks ago and love it.

They really try to make it a great experience- no complaints in last 2 years. Hold-ups have absolutely been the fault of Ineos - not the dealer. Things like warranty claim approval, spare parts availability etc - but Knauz itself has been good. I have my Grenadier in with them right now (leak in an AC hose). It’s helpful that they are also a BMW dealer - they have a lot of experience with the engine and transmission already.
