Grenadier Spotted

It's the tourists that scare the hell outta me , in their campervans on roafs wholly inappropriate for them.
My wife has been frequently using the FFS! expression.
In a hire car with a 2,200 GBP insurance excess I'm not keen to touch the hedgerows or soft verges, many with steep dropoffs.
As a note I've driven the back roads in UK and Euro for 10s of 1000s of miles over the years. Drivers are getting worse and vehicles bigger and bigger. Roads remain narrow!
Even worse are the taxi drivers who have set their Waze or Google maps to shortest distance.
I met a worried Uber driver just here today. (It's not remote)

I have a setting somewhere that allows green lanes but I can't remember where or exact term it uses. I don't think it uses many if any but the one fitted to my 2014 Land Rover did take you down some although it did also try to send me on restricted byways too.

Winter park, CO About 2pm Sun (yesterday), coming off the pass(?) going towards Winterpark. Green(?), with definitely a white roof. I think I’ve seen it before? Surprised I haven’t seen more up in Grand County.

Nice looking truck. Had some gear it looked like.

I traveled from Kathmandu to the Annapurna region in Nepal. The highest vehicle spotted was an Old Defender 110 the only Land Rover I saw at about 4000mtr, when I was ready to take a pic it was gone. Then returned home to jump onto another bird to NZ where I spotted the Gren in the iconic Arrowtown and I thought it was fitting for the Fieldmaster to be in this old and beautiful environment.

I was quite surprised to see as many Grens as I did during the week but my daughter who is living there said they are turning up with regularity, the talk is that the Old defender owners are not that taken by the ND or the Rangies, so back to as basic as one can be legally.
