Thursday about 7;30 PM on 40 just west of Empire there was an Elderot Blue towing a jets or small boat? I've only seen two IGs in the area. Surprised I haven't seen more. That blue is really growing on me.

Yes it kind of does from that shot.

I was riding my bike the next day and they actually pulled up behind me at a stop sign and it looked like Mushroom then. I blame the sunglasses is it is actually white. lol

Ironically, I wasn't sure they were behind me until we both stopped because I didn't hear the power steering pump. lol

Not a spotted, but my wife and I were getting into our IG after dinner and a family was walking (barely) their little girl who was probably 14 months old or so. She was hugging a pot of flowers and turned around and just stared at the IG. No blinking, no moving, just stood there and stared at the front of it. So much so that her parents started to chuckle about it.

Kind of funny, but I’ve heard that one way to ‘objectively’ tell how attractive someone is show their picture to a toddler and see how long they stare- the longer the more inherently attractive. Well, if that is true, the Grenadier is a 10!

My wife did see three IG around Denver on Saturday. I think this is the perfect place for them. From just general to hard use- and I posted a separate thread on the high altitude capability.

I saw a Green with White Roof on Route 47/347 in South Jersey this morning.

Black one with roof top tent spotted in the Algarve yesterday. We were at the mall to buy some boules for the beach. Poor photo as was moving.

Saw this Inky Black version sitting in a local parking lot here in Southern Oregon a couple of weeks back.



Pretty certain it was a Fieldmaster. Spoke briefly to the owner. Don't think he was a member here.

Saw this Eldoret Blue one unexpectedly last night while watching a video about a very old road in Portland, OR. Go to 59:00 and wait for it to round the bend. Quite a surprise.

Spotted a Donny Grey or Inky black, not sure which, on Prospect avenue in Providence, RI today. Wish I had Angus, my Scottish White, with me but I had to leave him back in California Coulda been a party.

Spotted and picked up a new '24 today. Deal was too good to pass up and in the poverty spec I wanted. Street tires on steelies, leather, triple locked, no safari and ladder in a drab shade. Perfect.

I'm hoping I don't regret this decision as I'm used to old school Toyota Land Cruiser reliability. I've always wanted a Defender without the Defender shortcomings. Here we go!

P.S. Picking up tomorrow as service is installing the new software that gets rid of the speed limit tocks

I drove my 1988 FJ62 for 37 years. My wife figured I'd be buried in it But then last year, after test driving the new prado and the grenadier, I bought my grenny and I've had zero regrets. It's been a dream. Every time I park it, i look back and smile. Congratulations, you won't regret it.
