Today in my neighbourhood ...

If you pause the "front view" video you can see he waves at me with a thumb up (I made a headlight greeting and waved).

Not really a Grenadier spotted, but driving through a small Spanish town, quite used to middle aged men staring, but this one actually gave me a round of applause as I drove past.

Sometimes I can’t tell if the yelling is because of how cool the Grenadier is or how bad of a driver I am. That and people approaching me at on our on the street when I’m parked. Sometimes I can’t tell if I’m being pimped about the grenadier about to be assaulted.

When people sound their horns at me (mostly german cars) I normally reckon they are praising my driving skills and good looks.

Spotted an extra Grenadier at my place when @Maxmck came to pick up a roof rack and awning from me.

Probably my 3rd sighting in 1.5 years since owning a grenadier and definitely my first sighting in West Virginia.

Magic shroom + contrasting red frame and black roof in Morgantown, WV at Mylan Park Aquatic Center on Saturday, July 19. Looks like a fellow deadhead, must be good people.

Spotted and picked up a new '24 today. Deal was too good to pass up and in the poverty spec I wanted. Street tires on steelies, leather, triple locked, no safari and ladder in a drab shade. Perfect.

I'm hoping I don't regret this decision as I'm used to old school Toyota Land Cruiser reliability. I've always wanted a Defender without the Defender shortcomings. Here we go!

P.S. Picking up tomorrow as service is installing the new software that gets rid of the speed limit tocks
