Grenadier Spotted

Was out and about in Thomasville, GA this weekend in our Scottish white and saw another Scottish white as well as a Magic Mushroom. I believe both FL tags.

Which one of you is NODFNDR? Seen westbound on the 60 freeway around City of Industry today. I seem to see at least one Grenadier a day around LA lately. Sales have clearly picked up.

I saw a Eldoret Blue in Fraser, PA near the Home Depot this morning.

I also saw a Black one at the Sunoco in Malvern, PA but that was probably the dealers demo.

Not sure if it was the same one as the one, I saw over the summer. Different license plate/frame.


Saw another this afternoon. Green or black on Route 202 in West Chester, PA.

Not the same one as this summer or morning.

When I got my IG, all the other cars in my family were white, so that was kind of out. Ironically, we had a 21 JLU that I tipped the scale for in white because I thought I’d never get my ‘93 Defender 100 NAS…. I do think the lighter shades look nice with the black contrast. My Donney Gray is good, but more easily confused with a Gwagen. The darker colors look ‘meaner’…

Funny enough, I watched the video on the Owl ARB compressor and the Ineos they used for an example had a full external roll cage... it got me wondering what it would look like in Scottish White with a white cage (a la NAS110). Did you get yourself one? (an NAS110, I mean)

Indeed... which is why I went with an internal 4-point Safety Devices cage in my 110. It preserved the aesthetics of the original shape. I had two NAS110s over the years and disassembled one cage to return it to white (the PO painted it black, which just didn't look 'right' to me). It was a fair bit of work just to deal with the parts I could readily see... there's plenty of hidden bracketry.

I forgot about the ARB air compressor. I’m thinking about that, probably first- but on the passenger side.

I never got a NAS 110. If I had a 5 car garage, I might have. Maybe someday.

Looking forward to people getting more modifications so we can just look and know who is who.

Agree about colors.....I also have Donny Gray and I have had folks ask if it is a Gwagen. I think Magic Mushroom is the most 'original' and unique Grenadier. And I also like how the black bits contrast with the lighter colors.

On a drive from Cheshire to Aberdeen I spotted five Grenadiers. One was in black with commercial signage saying’WA Blake’. Another was in a car park in Dundee, over 200 miles from where I live. Got to speak to the driver who is a member of the forum and lives only a few miles from me in Cheshire! A small world. Great to meet another forum member and Grenadier lover

I saw a dark one in Newtown Square, PA yesterday afternoon.

I also saw a blue on at Terrain in Glen Mills on Saturday with a Tree on the roof.

Saw another one at Wawa but talked to the owner on Saturday. Really nice color with wrap.

I wasn't driving mine on Saturaday.

Red letter A

Hi, Please can anyone who has successfully changed the “A” on the bonnet and rear door to red - let me know the best way, I can’t imagine getting a good enough finish with paint, is an adhesive vinyl an option? This would be so good to be incorporated into the build, to highlight the Grenadier...

I did mine on the rear door in vinyl.. took about 4 goes to get the cut out right, but it's done. I would take a picture. But I live in Greater Manchester so it's raining..... continuously....
