Independent Event Grenadier Oktoberfest

Technically yes on the license.... but there is no test and you get it online. Think its $35 for 10 years. Just submit your info.. pay the fee and you're good. I think the license is good for you and family members as well. You will need one working GMRS radio per vehicle. You won't be doing much talking, maybe none, but it's required and you will be glad you have it for info from the lead vehicle about whats up ahead and tips for certain trail features/obstacles.

Checking in! I'm signed up. I'll be coming in from the Ouray area. I'm trying to get a few Grenadiers that might be coming from Texas, New Mexico or central Colorado to come do a few trails and catch the aspen trees changing color in Ouray/Silverton/Lake City if anyone is interested, arriving September 28th. I'll likely leave Ouray Wednesday October 1st, head to Montrose to catch the Rim Rocker trail for a two day slow drive and camp for arrival in Moab on the afternoon of the 2nd.

I'll likely be camping for the event and would like to join others this might be doing the same.View attachment 7907361

Hi, My wife and I started the pre- rally rally last year to Oktoberfest, which was almost the exact same route. We think we can make time again this year, so we are planning on joining you and can tail gun. Do you have place in Ouray so we can come in the night before, or should we get a place at the KOA?
