I remember writing a post back in August that apparently I never finished - but better late than never! First let me say I LOVE my Grenadier so much. I obsessed over this vehicle for a solid year before finally pulling the trigger. It's expensive so definitely not a spontaneous purchase. Picked up a 1924 Belstaff edition in Magic Mushroom from Regal INEOS in the Atlanta area. When it was first introduced I knew that was the model I really really wanted. Loved the green accented trim, the darker headline - and is the leather on the seats upgraded from the other leather? Since August I have already put 5000 miles on her. Several camping trips in both North Georgia and North Carolina, as well as Virginia. She's negotiated the streets of Washington DC and lot of US 29 in addition to some medium offroading in the Shenandoah.
In the spring I am planning a mega road/overlanding trip across the US to hit some sights I've somehow missed in my travels, including Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Been giving a lot of thought to what modifications I want to add and I am leaning towards a drawer system in the rear - and then either a rooftop tent or a small pull-behind teardrop-type trailer.
Right now I'm in Italy and missing my NATO safari-mobile.
