I just purchased my enosio used.I have been trying to figure out all of the aftermarket things added.I have figured out everything else , except for this green button. You can press it in, and then it springs back. I have tried pressing it when the truck is off and see and hear nothing. I have also tried it when the car is on.What is on the left side of the steering wheel. Is everybody seeing this before? I was hoping somebody has seen this, before I have to start bigging into the dash and following the wires period. Thank you.

See if your aux light turn on. If not, pop the panel and trace the wire. Possible that they had it connected to something else that they took off when they traded the car in.

Are you able to contact previous owner or do you have the privacy rules we now have in UK that doesn't give previous ownership on the documents?

In the finest tradition of ever present “mystery buttons” in airplane cockpits.

I'm afraid the only solution is to trace and check the wiring, because if it was down to some " equipment " that has now been removed you need to check it was removed properly and you don't have " live" wires dangling down somewhere. 🫣

Pull the button out, bare the wires, turn ignition on and touch the wires together. Find which fuse has blown and correlate with the source of smoke.
That would work 😉
