USAA doesn’t offer glass coverage specifically, it falls under comprehensive coverage, then susceptible to your deductible (excess).

Hoping for some good newsI’ll let you know Monday. It’s going to Sierra Ineos here in So Cal.
In that case the gen 2 must be the USA model. New red colour option and ADAS.As far as I am aware, Gen 2 will be KO3 tyres and perhaps an extra colour or two?
"Trust me bro"Who told you this info?
It’s called Off Road Mode. I drive 23 miles to work and never hit 50mph. Perfect solution for me.I hope they just have a big button on the dash that you can program to turn off all the shit you don’t want. Lynn Calder certainly talks about that stuff being a pain.
Well, there are no windshields available at the dealership right now. They are not sure when they will be available again. No ETA.Hoping for some good news![]()

I’ll check the other 2 in so cal to see if any are available, in the morning. If you're desperate, call around, I know more than a few dealerships that usually try to stockpile over a dozen of them at all times
Most car insurance policies come with one free windscreen replacement per year.Don’t hold your breathe. Loud power steering pump noise, HVAC that doesn’t know if it’s coming or going. If you can live with some annoying things and dealerships that really don’t care to or are even capable of fixing things. It’s a pretty capable truck. Oh almost forgot the windshield glass that will almost certainly need to be replaced once a year at $3300 a pop.
I’m using insurance. No free replacements on my policy but I only have to $500 for the windshield when one is located. Most car insurance policies come with one free windscreen replacement per year.

I reckon many non-Chinese brands are going to be facing the stiffness in 2025 and beyond.INEOS Grenadier 于 2024 年 9 月进入中国市场,但一直因销售表现不佳而苦苦挣扎。售价 125,000 美元,在充满替代车型的市场中面临激烈的竞争

Totally agree. It is a rare beast indeed that gets a second gen product that is not an accountant’s strip down of first gen with an few added new frills to re-market (cover up) the stripped offering. Think PlayStation, Nokia phones, first iPhone, first commercial airliners ( table /trolley service and comfy seats in all classes) etc. In my experience it can be many generations and iterations before the quality of the original revolutionary product is replicated if ever. I’ve got my first gen grenadier, warts and all, and will be keeping it a long time. My precious. If history is anything to go by I am not sure the next generation Grenadier will be an improvement.
Most of us appear to live in societies where in the absence of anything more useful to do governments mandate more and more complex vehicle emission and safety features under the guise of "you can't put a price on a life saved, we are all facing a climate emergency" and so on ad infinitum.
I have a horrible feeling that the next generation Grenadier will respond to legislation by being even more bossy and patronising. More active speed limiters, noisier lane assist bongers, uncomfortable seat belt tensioners, an ignition system that won't let you drive it if you have had a drink and it will probably warn us that it is fitted with smoke detectors, will stop immediately if we smoke in the car and contact the authorities to ensure that we attend a course to learn the error of our ways.
Best to buy one before all of that happens and make sure that you look after it so that it "sees you out".
I have a 1964 TR4 and a 1953 Jaguar that are still going strong as they basically have nothing to go wrong on them. That said they are both pretty horrible top drive on a long night journey in the driving rain so I guess there has been some progress in car design since then.
That’s unfortunate. Was hoping growing into the CN market will bring them more revenue and business sustainability.INEOS Grenadier 于 2024 年 9 月进入中国市场,但一直因销售表现不佳而苦苦挣扎。售价 125,000 美元,在充满替代车型的市场中面临激烈的竞争

They will only be looking for a teeny weeny slice of the China car market pie, and it’s a market that will only get bigger each year as wealthy Chinese seek to express their individuality more and more. That’s unfortunate. Was hoping growing into the CN market will bring them more revenue and business sustainability.
However this niche vehicle will likely amount to a drop in the sea of high tech evs navigating dense urban settings
That being said, isn’t there only a couple of service centers in China? Ineos will find out real quick of their loser strategy to have a closed system for basic vehicle maintenance.
