I was told the difference between a boat and a ship is that a boat leans into the turn and a ship leans out.
There is probably more than one definition to mark down a ship vs. a boat, but they are mostly fuzzy. The only half way precise one is the length, though some say the limit is 90 ft, others say more.
The thing is the âPacific INEOS Grenadierâ which was named in honour of INEOSâ Grenadier 4X4 that is soon to launch in America. And we might want to be precise then: this ship is a carrier.
a very large ethane carrier or VLEC. most new ships are named on or prior delivery at yard. unusual for a vessel to sail without being named officially. Seems went from Chinese yard to SKorea and then over to Houston.

In any case, this "Build On Purpose" thing above is definitely a ship. ?
There is an old joke when a woman is asked by friends about her new boyfriend and she says ânot only did he lie about the size of his yacht â¦â¦â¦.he made me row it tooâ
